An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client based on site at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry. As the Medical Devices Trainer, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying medical device training needs for clinical professional users and delivering or facilitating appropriate medical device training.
- Supplementing OEM training on high-risk devices.
- Maintaining the learning management system.
- Advising and supporting the medical device risk assessment process.
- Assisting in developing strategies for training.
- Determining appropriate arrangements for refresher training.
The successful Medical Devices Trainer will have the following related skills / experience:
- Experience of, and familiarity with using or training on a range of medical devices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of delivering training, ideally in a clinical setting.
- Good understanding of clinical processes and conditions, and of indications for use of different medical devices and their limitations.
