Responsibilities:
- This is a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter position, working 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off (4 Days followed by 4 Nights).
- Working in a team of motivated Engineers, day shifts are often more reactive, responding to breakdowns and line issues, while the night shifts are often more proactive, undertaking PPM, Continuous Improvement and Project Work.
- Your role will include Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
- Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, so good fault finding, diagnostics and repair skills required.
- Assisting with planned shutdowns and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.
- The production machinery is often large and heavy, so you will be trained how to work safely on the plant to check, repair or replace belts, bearings, motors, gears, pumps, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
Those with mechanical skills within production/manufacturing environments would be ideal.
