The Role
We are looking for a Static Multiskilled Engineer to join the onsite engineering team at the Sizewell Nuclear Site, supporting the safe and reliable operation of a critical national infrastructure facility. This is a site-based role with no travel, offering long-term stability, consistent hours, and the opportunity to work within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across either electrical or mechanical systems, depending on your core discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on site systems and plant
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed in line with site procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports
- Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota to support out-of-hours issues
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working in facilities maintenance, industrial, power generation, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of PPM schedules and reactive fault-finding
- Ability to work calmly and methodically in a high-compliance, safety-critical setting
- Willingness to take part in the call-out rota
