We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a leading logistics company in Manchester as a Night Yard Operative. This is a role offering excellent pay, job security and a fantastic benefits package. Immediate starts available with full paid training.
The Role
- Manage and marshal a busy transport yard overnight
- Support the arrival and departure of trunking vehicles
- Complete HGV Class 2 trunking duties as required
- Assist with transhipping loads when necessary (manual handling involved)
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 12 months experience
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN10 convictions)
- Willing to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and Criminal Record Check
Pay & Benefits
- £16.75 per hour (PAYE)
- £25.12 per hour overtime (6th shift)
- Guaranteed salary £41,808
- £3,000 annual bonus (£750 paid quarterly)
