We're recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business investing in its people, equipment and continuous improvement.

This isn't a role where you'll simply respond to breakdownsyou'll be trusted to improve reliability, reduce downtime and help drive engineering standards across the site.

What You'll Be Doing As part of an experienced engineering team, you'll be responsible for ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.

Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment Responding quickly to electrical and mechanical breakdowns Diagnosing faults using a structured approach to minimise downtime Driving improvements to equipment reliability and plant performance Completing root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective actions Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site Working closely with production teams to maximise operational efficiency Updating maintenance records accurately through the CMMS system Maintaining high standards of health
