A modern, forward-thinking and growing private podiatry practice is looking for an enthusiastic Podiatrist to join its established, patient-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who wants to develop their skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, with exposure to routine podiatry, MSK and nail surgery alongside opportunities to develop experience with newer treatment techniques and technologies. The practice has built a strong reputation through patient referrals and word of mouth, so patient experience, communication and bedside manner are particularly important.

  • £30k-£45k pro rata depending on experience
  • Part-time position from 3 days per week, with scope to increase hours as the practice grows.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality routine podiatry assessments and treatments.
  • Provide assessment and management of MSK and biomechanical presentations.
  • Undertake nail surgery and associated patient aftercare where appropriately experienced.
  • Build strong patient relationships through excellent communication and a professional, personable bedside manner.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
  • Encourage patient retention and repeat business through consistently high standards of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing clinical team and contribute positively to the practice environment.
  • Continue developing your clinical skills and scope of practice through CPD, training and exposure to new treatments.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
  • Strong all-round clinical skills across routine podiatry.
  • Experience or a genuine interest in MSK, biomechanics and/or nail surgery.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong patient-centred approach.
  • Professional, conscientious and personable manner.
  • High standards of clinical documentation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Newly qualified Podiatrists with the right attitude and clinical foundations may also be considered.
