We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an established children's residential home in South West London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a provider committed to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people. The organisation is seeking a proven leader who can bring strong operational expertise, maintain high standards of care, and continue driving the service forward.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Registered Manager with a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's residential care.

The Role

  • As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding requirements.
  • You will lead and develop the staff team, oversee care planning, manage relationships with external stakeholders, and ensure children receive the highest possible standard of care and support.
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the children's home.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and child-centred environment.
  • Maintain excellent safeguarding practices and risk management processes.
  • Oversee care planning, placement matching, and outcomes for children.
  • Build positive relationships with local authorities and partner agencies.
  • Manage audits, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.
  • Drive continuous improvement and service development.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential home.
  • Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Experience leading and developing residential care teams.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
  • Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people.
