Position: Quality Engineer / Quality Technician
Hours: Monday Thursday, 08:00am till 4:30pm, Friday 08:00am till 2:00pm
Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits

Responsibilities:
- The Quality Engineer will work in a varied role, but its core focus is to assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring quality and compliance systems operate effectively across the sites.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP quality standards.
- Review and approve relevant sections of Control of Change documentation.
- Deliver compliance training and quality inductions when required.
- Attend SQDCP meetings and raise or elevate quality-related issues.
- Support departments in addressing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist with external audits.
- Conduct competency audits and monitor ongoing compliance.
- Investigate test failures and problem-solving techniques.
- Initiate specification reviews and maintain controlled specification records.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Quality Role/Department, this could include Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Engineer, Compliance Engineer etc.
- Knowledge of Quality Standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100 & NADCAP etc.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
