We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join a high-performing production kitchen team.
Shift: Night Shift (21:30 - 06:00)
Pay Rate: £16.36 per hour
Pastry Chef - Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen, confidently managing multiple sections
- Creative ability to design and produce innovative pastry items aligned with current trends and diverse dietary needs
- Strong technical expertise across a wide range of pastry techniques, including chocolate tempering, custards, mousses, and pastry doughs
- Passion for delivering exceptional quality and exceeding guest expectations
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as operations run 7 days a week
Pastry Chef - Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in high-volume or production kitchen environments preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Reliable, flexible, and strong team player
This role is subject to airport security clearance. As a general benchmark, applicants with a higher frequency of short-term roles within the 5-year period (typically around 4-5 or more positions) may require additional verification during the clearance process.
