Experienced Slinger/Signaller required for a busy high-rise student accommodation project in Southampton. You will be working closely with the tower crane team, safely moving materials around the site and assisting with day-to-day lifting operations.
Duties include: Slinging and signalling loads to and from tower cranesMoving shuttering materials, frames, formwork and general construction materialsUsing radios and standard hand signals to direct crane operatorsChecking slings, chains, shackles and other lifting accessoriesFollowing lift plans, RAMS and site proceduresMaintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operationsPositioning and distributing materials around the buildingGeneral slinger/signaller duties and assisting the site team when requiredMaintaining a safe and tidy working area
Requirements: CPCS/NPORS All Duties TicketPrevious tower crane and high-rise construction experienceExperience with shuttering/formwork materials preferredGood understanding of safe lifting operationsFull PPEReliable and available to start Monday
