We are looking for an experienced Slinger with Parapets experience for a project in Coventry.
Start Date: 17th July
Location: Coventry
Duration: Up until end of year
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification
- Proven experience working on parapets
- Safety Critical Medical (essential)
- Must complete a BioSite online induction before starting
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant site experience and references
As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely directing and coordinating lifting operations, ensuring all lifts are carried out in accordance with site procedures and current health and safety regulations. You will communicate clearly with crane operators and site teams, attach and detach loads using the correct lifting accessories, and carry out pre-use checks on lifting equipment. The role will involve supporting parapets works where required, maintaining a safe working environment, following lift plans and method statements, and working closely with the wider site team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard. You will also be expected to comply with all site rules, wear the appropriate PPE, and report any hazards or safety concerns promptly.
