We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to design, develop, and commission programmable logic controller systems, primarily for car park ventilation and smoke control systems. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for programming, testing, and commissioning control panels, as well as troubleshooting and providing technical support both in-house and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PLC programs to control ventilation and smoke control systems.
- Assist with panel design, component layout, and panel assembly.
- Commission and test panels both in-house and on-site, ensuring functionality and compliance.
- Troubleshoot wiring, circuits, and programs to ensure reliable system operation.
- Work closely with engineers to analyse project requirements and translate them into functional control solutions.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in electrical and control system design.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for commissioning, testing, and support (some overnight stays required).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum ONC/HNC in Electronics, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience programming PLCs or other control devices for systems using variable speed drives, I/O boxes, and related components.
- Ability to interpret specifications and create functional control programs and panel designs.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills to ensure system reliability.

- Technically astute, professional, and well-presented
