Job Description
Job Title: Joiner\\n\\nLocation: Edinburgh & East Lothian\\n\\nSalary: £35,000 per annum\\n\\nBenefits: Company Van, Annual Leave, Uniform, and More.\\n\\nRecruiting for a skilled Joiner to join our team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work across various housing sites in Edinburgh and East Lothian. You will be involved in a wide range of joinery tasks, including repairs, installations, and upgrades for residential properties.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nPlanned Maintenance: Carry out scheduled joinery work, including the installation and repair of doors, windows, kitchen units, flooring, and other essential features within domestic properties.\\nReactive Maintenance: Attend to emergency and ad-hoc maintenance requests, providing timely repairs to maintain the safety and quality of tenant's homes.\\nRepairs & Upgrades: Perform high-quality repairs on damaged or worn-out joinery elements, ensuring all work meets safety standards and customer satisfaction.\\nCustomer-Focused: Provide excellent customer service to tenants, ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication during work.\\nHealth & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.\\nTeam Collaboration: Work alongside other trades and maintenance staff to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.Skills and Experience Required:\\n\\nQualified Joiner: SVQ, NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Joinery, or equivalent experience.\\nDomestic Maintenance Experience: Previous experience working in domestic settings.\\nHigh-Quality Work: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to the highest standards.\\nProblem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve joinery issues effectively and efficiently.\\nCommunication Skills: Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.\\nFull Driving License: A clean, full driving license is required for the role (van provided).Benefits:\\n\\nCompany van and tools provided.\\nAnnual leave and holiday allowance.\\nUniform provided.\\nPension scheme and other basic benefits.Resourcing Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
