My client is a well-established, globally backed business with over 60 years' history and a strong presence in the UK for more than 20 years in the renewable energy sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire additional Installation Engineers across both standard and senior level.
The Opportunity:
This is a hands-on, UK site-based role where you will be part of a team delivering installation, commissioning, and service support across a range of electrical projects in the renewable energy sector. You won’t be stuck behind a desk – this role is about getting involved, working on-site, and building solid technical experience within a supportive team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Installing and commissioning electrical equipment
- Supporting service and maintenance work on-site
- Reading and working from electrical schematics
- Assisting with technical queries during project delivery
- Working as part of a collaborative team environment
- At Senior level – supporting and guiding junior engineers
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience within installation and/or service environments
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Exposure to testing and commissioning (training can be provided)
- Typically mechanically biased, with a good understanding of electrical systems
Qualifications:
- ECS Gold Card (preferred)
- 18th Edition Level 3 qualification (electrical or mechanical)
Package & Benefits:
