A hands-on role supporting daily operations within a busy processing environment, working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth workflow across technical device handling and refurbishment activities.

You will be responsible for supervising the processing of laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices, ensuring they are tested, assessed, and prepared efficiently and accurately.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervise daily processing of IT and electronic devices
  • Handle laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics
  • Support testing, diagnostics, grading, and refurbishment activities
  • Ensure devices move efficiently through workflow stages
  • Maintain quality control, accuracy, and productivity standards
  • Support basic data erasure processes where required
  • Lead and support a small team of operatives on the floor
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with laptops, mobile phones, or electronic devices
  • Strong technical understanding of consumer electronics hardware
  • Background in ITAD, electronics refurbishment, repair, or technical warehouse environments
  • Hands-on, practical technical ability (floor-based role, not desk IT)
  • Previous supervisory or senior operative experience preferred
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
