Job Description
We are looking for 2 Groundworkers / General Labourers to join a busy site team on an ongoing project.
Position 1: Groundworker with Telehandler competency
Position 2: Groundworker with Dumper Ticket up to 10t
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation of approximately 800m of Heras fencing and gatesLight de-vegetation and site clearanceRemoval, handling and storage of handrailsSupporting the construction of haul roadsGeneral site housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe working areaAssisting the site team with general groundworks and labouring dutiesFurther drainage and ducting works as the project progressesFollowing instructions from the Supervisor and maintaining good health & safety standards
RequirementsCSCS card relevant to the roleTelehandler competency required for one of the two positionA Dumper ticket up to 10T would be highly advantageous for the second position Previous experience as a Groundworker / General Labourer on construction or civil engineering sitesGood understanding of site health & safetyReliable, punctual and able to work well within a teamCandidates with additional relevant plant tickets/experience are welcome
PPE / Site RequirementsCandidates will need to provide: Orange long-sleeved Hi-VisOrange or yellow work trousersSafety bootsWhite hard hat
Local Candidates PreferredWe are ideally looking for candidates who are locally based and readily available for work, particularly those who can reliably travel to site each day.
