An established and highly respected regional main contractor is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. The Role

Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and wider commercial team, you will support the financial and contractual management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and procurement
  • Manage subcontractor packages, valuations, and payments
  • Prepare and submit applications for payment
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and change control
  • Support commercial reporting and forecasting
  • Assist with final accounts and contract administration
  • Liaise with site and operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are met
  • Help drive profitability across multiple projects
