Lead MRI Field Service Engineer

Are you an experienced MRI Field Service Engineer looking to step into a senior technical role?
We are recruiting for a Lead MRI Field Service Engineer to provide expert field-based support across diagnostic imaging equipment. Alongside hands-on servicing, maintenance and fault finding, you'll act as a first point of technical escalation and support the development of other engineers through mentoring and training.
The role:
- Carrying out installation, preventative maintenance, repairs and upgrades on MRI/diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Troubleshooting complex technical faults and acting as a first point of escalation.
- Mentoring and providing technical support to Field Service Engineers and Trainees.
- Supporting technical training and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
- Providing technical input into bids, tenders and capability development.
- Supporting multiple OEM platforms and undertaking cross-training where required.
The person:
- Minimum 7 years' experience within a Diagnostic Imaging Field Service role.
- Strong hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Strong MRI technical expertise and fault-finding capability.
- Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to other engineers.
- HNC/HND or equivalent Engineering qualification.
- Knowledge of PACS, DICOM and basic networking.
- OEM/vendor training certificates would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
This is a home-based, nationwide position with UK travel and some international travel required.
