Class 1 Cargo Operative Drivers Wanted
We are currently recruiting Class 1 Cargo Operative Drivers to join our growing logistics team in Hounslow. This role is ideal for skilled, safety-focused drivers who take pride in delivering reliable and efficient service.
Pay Rates
- HGV 1 Days: £19.00
- HGV 1 Nights: £20.00
- HGV 1 Saturday: £21.00
- HGV 1 Sunday: £22.00
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for cargo transport
- Ensure timely and accurate collection and delivery of goods
- Complete all relevant documentation and follow operational procedures
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- 1 year minimum Class 1 driving experience
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous cargo handling or airside/warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety policies and operational guidelines
Compliance Requirements
In line with CAA regulations, you may be required to undergo the following prior to commencing work:
- Basic UK criminal record check
- Overseas criminal record check for any period of 6+ months outside the UK
- Full 5-year history - employment, unemployment, education, or other
