Job Description Our client is a specialist renewable energy company delivering heating, solar PV, battery storage and low carbon energy systems across the South of England, working across both domestic and commercial sectors. As an MCS certified installer they work with air source heat pumps, solar PV systems, battery storage, EV charging and smart energy controls.\n \nThey are looking for an Approved Electrician to cover a temporary assignment based in Romsey, carrying out high quality electrical installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding across their domestic and commercial projects.\Carrying out electrical installation works across domestic and commercial propertiesInstalling, testing, inspecting and commissioning electrical systems to BS 7671Carrying out electrical fault finding, diagnosis, repairs and remedial worksCompleting electrical testing and certification accurately and within timescaleInstalling consumer units, distribution boards, protective devices, cabling and isolatorsCarrying out electrical works associated with heating and renewable energy installationsWorking closely with heating engineers, solar PV installers, roofers and surveyors\n \nWhat you will needA recognised Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalentCurrent BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualificationInspection and Testing qualification, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalentDemonstrable experience of electrical installation workStrong understanding of electrical testing, inspection and fault findingFull UK driving licenceCIS registered\n \nExperience of solar PV, battery storage, air source heat pumps or EV charging would be an advantage but is not essential.\
