We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundworker to join a project in Godalming, Surrey on a temporary contract for up to two months, starting Monday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general groundwork duties, including excavation, drainage, kerbing, paving, and concrete preparation.
- Assist with site preparation, reinstatement works, and the installation of drainage and utility systems.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow site plans and instructions while adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundworks or civil construction.
- Valid CSCS card (preferred/required).
- Good understanding of site health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
