Garage Door Engineer - Permanent - Regional role

Main purpose of the role: The Garage door Engineer must have a good understanding of all types of garage doors. The position consists of repairing and installing all five different types of garage doors. (Canopy, Retractable, Side Hung, roller door and sectional garage doors).

Scope of the role:

* Installation: (Canopy, Retractable, Side hinged, Roller & sectional garage doors Manual & Automated)

* Maintenance: Routine servicing of garage

* Repairs: Broken springs or cables, misaligned tracks

Primary Objectives:

* Installing a minimum of 2 garage doors per day in alliance with the manufacturer\'s instructions.

* All work to be signed off by the customer on completion. Demonstration / handover required after each job.

* Repairing new and existing garage doors.

* Competence in using sealant / mastic and other materials such as timber & UPVC.

* Work carried out efficiently and to a high level reducing remedials / call backs

* All remedials / call-backs due to negligence will be carried out in the engineers own time.

* Daily collection of materials from local merchants i.e. UPVC and timber

* All customers to be given an ETA before arrival.
