About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Estimator, you will be responsible for system design and the technical elements of quotations. Working closely with the wider team, you will ensure the right equipment and solutions are specified, costed, and delivered within agreed timeframes.
Your role will cover estimating tenders, remedial repair works, and providing technical support to both internal teams and customers, helping to maintain the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake estimates of tenders and produce accurate quotations.
Provide quotations for small remedial and repair works.
Complete certification and drawings to support proposals.
Offer technical advice and guidance to customers and colleagues.

Person Specification
Competent in Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems.
Strong knowledge of BS5839-1 and experience producing fire alarm design/estimates for data centres in line with BAFE codes of practice.
Fire Industry Association (FIA) Level 3 Fundamentals Certificate preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
CSCS/ECS Card preferred.
Extensive knowledge of British and European Standards relating to fire systems.
Solid engineering background with practical understanding of fire alarm system installation.
IT literate with strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel).
Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to travel within the UK and Europe.
Capable of working independently, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Positive, confident communicator with a willingness to learn and grow.
Full, clean UK driving licence essential.
