Role Overview: Bright Purple is delighted to be supporting one of Scotland's most prestigious hospitality brands in the search for a Finance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, collaborative finance team where you'll play a key role in ensuring financial operations run smoothly behind the scenes. You'll work across a variety of finance systems, support reconciliations, manage financial records and help deliver the exceptional service standards the organisation is renowned for. Essential Skills:
- Previous experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or in a similar finance support role
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, financial administration and transactional finance
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Experience processing cash books and company credit card reconciliations
- Experience supporting Accounts Receivable activities
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the business
- A positive, proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
Desirable Skills:
- Experience using SUN6, Lightspeed, Book4Time or Peoplevine
- Previous experience within hospitality, leisure or a customer-focused environment
- Experience managing memberships or gift voucher reconciliations
