About the Client
Our client is a fast-growing UK consultancy delivering specialist expertise across Defence, Government, and highly regulated commercial industries. Expanding into high-impact fields, they are creating a dedicated proposition around AI risk and governance, leveraging a leading third-party assurance platform to solve complex compliance and safety challenges for client organisations.
Role Summary
As Product & Propositions Manager, you will take full ownership of developing and commercialising a new AI governance and assurance service offering. Working directly with the platform partner and internal executive leadership, you will define service packages, shape go-to-market strategies, and actively lead business development to drive adoption across target sectors.
Due to the secure nature of this role, all applicants must hold current UK SC security clearance or be readily eligible to obtain it.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact with the technology partner, translating complex platform capabilities into a structured, commercially viable service proposition.

Build and execute the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, including market segmentation, core messaging, commercial pricing models, and sales collateral.

Lead proactive business development activities, generating and managing a robust pipeline of client opportunities across Defence, Government, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Critical Infrastructure.

Conduct early-stage client meetings, lead proposals, and input into competitive bids to secure new business.

Maintain active knowledge of evolving AI governance frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, NIST) to build immediate credibility with prospective clients.

Define product roadmaps based on real client feedback and partner capabilities, coordinating with internal delivery teams to ensure engagements are properly scoped.

Monitor commercial performance, tracking pipeline growth, client engagements, and revenue targets directly for the executive team.
Required Skills and Experience

Proven track record in proposition management, product commercialisation, or technology business development, ideally including experience taking a new service or partner solution to market.

Strong commercial acumen with direct experience defining pricing models, revenue targets, and building a client pipeline.

Hands-on experience or confidence in driving consultative business development and presenting to senior client stakeholders.

Passion for and solid working understanding of AI risk, governance, safety, or regulatory frameworks.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of building collaborative relationships with technology partners and internal teams.

Self-motivated and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy within a fast-paced consultancy environment.
