Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable FLT Telehandler Operator to join an active construction project in Welborne, Fareham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a telehandler to support the day-to-day activities on site.
Duties will include transporting and distributing materials, loading and unloading deliveries, moving equipment to designated work areas, assisting trades and subcontractors with lifting operations, and ensuring materials are available where required to maintain the smooth running of the project.
Operators will also be expected to carry out routine pre-use inspections of the machine, report any defects or maintenance issues, and ensure the equipment is operated in accordance with site procedures and current health and safety legislation and all other associated tasks.
Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card, have previous experience operating FLT Telehandlers on construction sites, and be able to provide recent, relevant work references.
Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety boots, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, and appropriate protective gear.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, punctual, and capable of working independently while contributing positively to the overall success of the project.
