Fabric Engineer – Battersea Power Station Location: Battersea, London Contract Type: Temp to Perm Pay Rate: £22 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role: My Client is seeking an experienced and proactive Fabric Engineer to join our growing team on our prestigious Battersea Power Station contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of London's most iconic developments, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the building fabric, ensuring a high standard of service delivery in line with client expectations and commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, plastering, and minor plumbing. Undertake general building repairs and ensure the site remains safe and operational. Conduct regular inspections and report any defects or required improvements. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times. Liaise with the client and ourselves to ensure smooth operation on-site. Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used.Requirements: Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or in a similar building maintenance role. Strong knowledge of general building maintenance tasks and skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.
