Job Title: Estimator Construction & Drainage
Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £50,000 plus package
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for groundworks, drainage, and civil engineering projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess conditions
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to align estimates with delivery plans
- Monitor market trends and pricing to maintain competitiveness
- Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering
- Maintain and update estimating tools and databases
Requirements:
- Proven Estimator experience in construction or drainage
- Strong understanding of UK construction methods and regulations
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders independently
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Desirable Qualifications:
- HNC/HND or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, or similar professional bodies
