Are you an experienced Caretaker or Cleaner looking for a new role in East London? We are hiring a Caretaker to join a housing provider in the area. This is a hands-on cleaning and maintenance role, perfect for someone with experience in caretaking.
This is an ongoing temporary position.

- Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (35 hours per week)
- Pay Rate: £15.37 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay)
What We're Looking For:
- Cleaning/caretaking experience - previous work in a similar role
- COSHH knowledge - safe handling of cleaning products
- Health & safety awareness - understanding dilution of chemicals, trip hazards, broken glass, and other site dangers
Caretaker Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintenance of communal areas
- Outdoor cleaning duties - sweeping roads, clearing leaves, and general site upkeep
- Basic maintenance and repair tasks (especially on Thursdays and Fridays)
- Logging repairs and reporting issues
- Following health & safety protocols to ensure a safe environment
