The Role
You\'ll be working alongside Senior and Associate Engineers to deliver robust, future-focused electrical design solutions. The role offers a blend of office-based design work and site involvement, providing variety and real project ownership.
Your day-to-day will include:
Producing detailed design drawings, reports, calculations, and specifications
Supporting senior staff on project delivery
Ensuring designs meet current building regulations and sustainability standards (e.g., BREEAM)
Conducting site inspections and witnessing commissioning
Mentoring junior team members
Managing workload effectively across multiple projects
Following internal QA systems and procedures
About You
We\'re looking for someone who is proactive, technically capable, and eager to grow.
Must-haves:
HNC/HND or degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Progressing towards Chartership (CIBSE, IET or equivalent)
Skilled in Amtech, Dialux, Relux, and AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
Solid understanding of UK regulations, standards, and sustainable design practices
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice-to-haves:
