As a Security Services Engineer, you'll gain hands-on experience protecting live production environments from DDoS attacks and other network threats. You will be working shoulder-to-shoulder with customers when the pressure is highest.

  • Triage and resolve security incidents and customer tickets in a live production environment (1st/2nd line support).
  • Monitor, analyse, and investigate network traffic and emerging threats, including active DDoS activity.
  • Support customer maintenance, upgrades, and technical communications.
  • Work within ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Requests).
  • Continuously level up your expertise across cybersecurity and networking.

Requirements:

  • 12 years experience in a SOC, IT support, networking, or similar technical role.
  • Strong networking fundamentals TCP/IP, routing, and packet analysis with solid troubleshooting instincts.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment (including nights and weekends).
  • Working knowledge of DDoS attacks and network security concepts.
  • Linux and basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash).
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, or CyberOps.
