We’re an established and growing financial services business. We’re looking for an AI & Automation Operations Lead to take ownership of the next phase of our automation and AI journey. This is a newly created role at an exciting point in the company’s evolution. We already use Power Automate and RPA internally; now we want someone to expand on that foundation, design smarter workflows, and introduce AI-assisted systems pragmatically and safely. This isn’t a pure software engineering role. We’re looking for someone who combines strong operational thinking with technical curiosity and the ability to deliver practical workflow improvements.

What you’ll do:

  • Map and improve operational workflows alongside leadership and ops staff
  • Manage and expand our Power Automate / RPA processes
  • Design AI-assisted tools for document handling, summarisation and workflow support
  • Manage integrations between internal systems and external platforms
  • Evaluate AI tools and vendors, and coordinate with external developers where needed
  • Support internal adoption, training and operational reliability

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong systems thinking and practical operational judgement
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and automation
  • Comfort with Power Platform, RPA, APIs, AI/LLM tools and low-code/no-code development
  • Ability to spot inefficiencies and redesign workflows end-to-end
  • A background in operations and automation, CRM / business systems, workflow consulting, process improvement, technical operations or AI implementation
  • Experience in financial services, or other regulated environments is a real plus
