Working within their manufacturing division, you will play a key role in driving process improvement, manufacturing efficiency, and continuous innovation across advanced production environments supporting highly complex products.
The Role:
- Support product performance improvement and manufacturing processes for advanced electronic systems
- Produce reporting, analysis, and technical documentation
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
- Contribute to innovation, process optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing activities
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions where required
- Support manufacturing cells and wider engineering functions as needed
- Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Manufacturing Process activities, and process improvement projects
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve manufacturing capability, efficiency, and product quality
Your Skills / Experience:
- Minimum HND or degree in a related subject such as STEM, Production Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Proven experience in a mid-to-senior manufacturing role, ideally within electronics manufacturing
- Experience working on electronic products down to component level
- Strong knowledge of process improvement, manufacturing efficiency, and lean manufacturing principles
- Experience with Process FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow development, review, and risk mitigation processes
- Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing platforms and production environments
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills
Desirable:
- Experience with manufacturing methodologies such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Ideally have experience within Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Defence sectors
