We are an established and growing financial services business. We are looking for an AI & Automation Operations Lead to take ownership of the next phase of our automation and AI journey. This is a newly created role at an exciting point in the company's evolution. We already use Power Automate and RPA internally; now we want someone to expand on that foundation, design smarter workflows, and introduce AI-assisted systems pragmatically and safely. This isn't a pure software engineering role. We are looking for someone who combines strong operational thinking with technical curiosity and the ability to deliver practical workflow improvements.
What you'll do:
- Map and improve operational workflows alongside leadership and ops staff
- Manage and expand our Power Automate / RPA processes
- Design AI-assisted tools for document handling, summarisation and workflow support
- Manage integrations between internal systems and external platforms
- Evaluate AI tools and vendors, and coordinate with external developers where needed
- Support internal adoption, training and operational reliability
What we're looking for:
- Strong systems thinking and practical operational judgement
- Genuine curiosity about AI and automation
- Comfort with Power Platform, RPA, APIs, AI/LLM tools and low-code/no-code development
- Ability to spot inefficiencies and redesign workflows end-to-end
- A background in operations and automation, CRM / business systems, workflow consulting, process improvement, technical operations or AI implementation
- Experience in financial services, or other regulated environments is a real plus
