A high profile global FTSE manufacturer are looking to recruit a Demand Planning Manager. The main objective of the role is to lead the global demand management team and processes.
Key duties will include:
- Follow the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle to ensure demand values and volumes.
- Lead the IBP Pre-Demand & Demand Reviews.
- Manage the statistical forecasting system for the business and provide scenario plans.
- Drive improvements in demand management KPIs.
- Manage a wide variety of stakeholders, influencing directors to sign off IBP actions.
- Manage and develop a small demand planning team.

Supporting a market leading global product manufacturer who supplies a wide variety of markets, including automotive, aerospace, energy, medical, electronics and industrial. Exposure to a wide variety of senior level stakeholders across the company. Drive improvements across the demand management KPIs. Build a strong working relationship with the sales team, taking back control of the demand management process. Improve bias metric of +/- 10% to 2% world class target. Improve forecast accuracy of 70% to 85% world class target.
Candidate Requirements
- Successfully operated as a Demand Manager for 5+ years, for any large complex manufacturer.
- We will also consider experienced Senior / Demand Planners, who have 5+ years experience and who are looking for career progression.
- Strong MRP, IBP or S&OP experience (IBP desirable).
- Demonstrable experience of using Strategical Forecasting Tools (Currently use Arkeva, happy with SAP).
- Demonstrable track record of building strong relationships with Director level internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.
- Must be willing to get involved and embrace change, with a can-do attitude.
- Demonstrable track record of achievements from previous jobs.
- Some experience of managing small demand planning teams would be desirable.
- Degree qualified (desirable).
