CNC Miller - Nights

Night shift:

Monday – Thursday: 18.00 – 06.00 (4 x 12 hours shifts) paid at T+1/3.

Paid lunch break.

Overtime available Friday after 13.00 as well as Saturday and Sunday. Overtime for night shift is paid at T+1/2.

Job Purpose:
To set, operate, and program CNC Elgamill milling machines to manufacture medium to heavy components to precise customer specifications, ensuring high quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Elgamill) using Fanuc controls

• Program jobs using Cimco CAD/CAM software

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate components

• Work with medium to heavy engineering materials

• Perform self-inspection of machined parts using measuring equipment

• Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure safe working practices

• Support the team by working regular overtime when required

• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient workflows

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Proven experience setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines

• Competent in Fanuc control systems

• Skilled in using Cimco CAD/CAM software or similar

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong attention to detail with self-inspection capabilities

• Flexible and willing to work overtime

• Good time management and reliability

Desirable:

• Experience working with medium to heavy components

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
