We are currently recruiting an experienced General Foreman to join a major infrastructure project in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. This is a safety-critical role offering a long-term opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure works.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
- Coordinating site activities
- Monitoring progress against programme
- Carrying out site briefings
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Promoting a strong safety culture across the workforce
Applicants must hold a valid SMSTS qualification, a CSCS, and have previous experience supervising teams on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects. A Safety Critical Medical is essential, and candidates must be willing to comply with site drug and alcohol testing and all site safety procedures. A First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.
