We are working with a well-established and growing contract cleaning business to recruit an experienced Operations Manager. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing multiple sites, leading teams, and ensuring high standards of service delivery across all contracts.

The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of key sites alongside Area Supervisors
  • Ensure all sites operate in line with Health & Safety requirements
  • Oversee client KPIs and SLAs, ensuring high service standards
  • Conduct regular site audits and performance reviews
  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular meetings
  • Support and guide Area Supervisors across multiple locations
  • Manage staffing levels, holidays, and absence to ensure full coverage
  • Oversee recruitment of cleaning operatives
  • Provide support on HR matters when required
  • Monitor site hours and support payroll input
  • Ensure all sites are fully resourced and operating efficiently

About You

  • Proven experience within contract cleaning or facilities management
  • Experience managing multiple sites and teams
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent client-facing ability
  • Organised, proactive, and able to take ownership
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, reporting systems)
  • Full UK driving licence
