We are looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established team, delivering essential equipment to customers across the region. You will be joining one of the UK's leading equipment and tool hire businesses, recognised for its dependable service, strong safety standards and excellent reputation across construction, infrastructure and facilities management sectors. Working Hours
Week 1
- Monday: 06:00 – 17:15 (10.25 paid hours)
- Tuesday: 06:00 – 16:15 (9.25 paid hours)
- Wednesday & Thursday: 06:00 – 15:15 (8.25 paid hours each day)
- Friday: 06:00 – 17:15 (10.25 paid hours)
Total: 46.25 paid hours (Contracted 45 hrs, +1.25 hrs banked)
Week 2
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 15:30 (8.5 paid hours per day)
Total: 42.5 paid hours (Contracted 45 hrs, -2.5 hrs banked)
What we're looking for
- A valid, clean Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Previous driving experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A safety-first approach with attention to detail
- Reliability, punctuality and a team-player attitude
Key responsibilities
- Safe delivery and collection of equipment from customer sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean
- Ensuring loads are secure and compliant
- Providing a professional, customer-focused service on site
- Accurately completing paperwork and delivery reports
