A Leading Cost Consultancy is looking for various Senior Quantity Surveyors & Quantity Surveyors to join their UK commercial team. The main objective of the role is to deliver commercial and contract management services for an assigned regulated client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver contract management throughout the lifecycle of clients' construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Advise client Project Managers on NEC contractual matters.
  • Lead the post contract administration of NEC contracts, early warnings, compensation events and defects for live projects.
  • Lead the pre contract creation of NEC contracts, tendering documentation and procurement strategies for new projects.
  • Monitor and report on the commercial position for your projects.
  • Ensure projects are compliant with contractual terms and achieve the clients' objectives.

  • Senior Quantity Surveyors will have a minimum of 10+ years, whereas Quantity Surveyors will have at least 5+ years commercial experience.
  • Must have many years experience of delivering NEC contracts for any consultancy, client organisation, main contractor or subcontractor.
  • Must have strong post contract administration of NEC contracts, with experience of managing early warnings, compensation events and defects for live projects.
  • Must have client facing experience with the ability to offer advice and guidance to senior stakeholders on complex commercial matters.
