A genuine opportunity to grow a territory, build a client base, and make your mark. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to take ownership of a role, develop meaningful client relationships, and be rewarded for the results they deliver. If you are commercially driven, enjoy the challenge of new business, and want the autonomy to work your own way, we would love to hear from you.
The territory covered will be across the North West of England and North Wales, and the company offers a hybrid way of working mixed across office/home and territory travel. You are looking for somewhere you can bring fresh thinking, not just recycle the same old approach. You come from a similar B2B sector, where you have sold any form of service into sectors such as manufacturing, retail, produce, or any industry that has physical products to sell that need to be delivered. You understand how these businesses work and what drives buying decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and winning new business across transport, logistics, and related sectors
- Building and managing a pipeline to consistently meet and exceed targets
- Developing long-term client relationships built on trust and understanding
- Representing the business professionally in every interaction
Enjoy the challenge of new business and get genuine satisfaction from winning accounts and building relationships. Proven in B2B sales ideally with a logistics, transport, or related industry background (all adjacent markets will be strongly considered). Full UK driving licence required.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary with an uncapped performance bonus that genuinely reflects your effort
- Company car or car allowance because your territory isn't going to cover itself
- A clear path to grow as the business grows; this is a company on the move
- Ongoing development investment; we back our people
This is a great opportunity to join a long established and growing business with strong plans to continue to grow and develop, which will bring individual opportunities to grow.
