Our client is a leading manufacturing company that provides engineering solutions to the construction, HGV and crane industry throughout the UK and across the world. Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is looking to expand their sales department with an experienced Sales Manager who oozes passion and prides themselves on building excellent client relationships, alongside providing technical sales advice that suits customer requirements.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be working with construction, haulier, fleet operators and heavy plant machinery companies covering the Midlands and North as far as Manchester and the surrounding areas. You will be promoting and selling their portfolio of mechanical lifting and crane equipment, making sure you offer tailored solutions to suit customer needs.
The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, HGVs, cranes or heavy plant machinery. You will be a natural born salesperson with an ability to understand the client's needs and build rapport. Therefore, it’s important you have excellent listening skills, communication skills, and a strong technical understanding.
What’s involved for the Regional Sales Manager:- Follow up inbound enquiries and convert to sales
- Prospect and win new business
- Travel to meet clients (Midlands area to the North (nr Manchester))
- Sell HGV crane equipment to clients
- Support service department as and when required
- Manage existing accounts
- Negotiate up to Director level
