We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Stock Controller / Assembly Technician to join a busy and growing workshop team in Southend-on-Sea. This is a varied, hands-on role combining stock control, stores support and component assembly, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a practical working environment and thrives in a role with variety.
Key responsibilities:
- Assembling parts and components to required specifications
- Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintaining and replenishing stock levels
- Picking and issuing parts for workshop technicians
- Supporting stores operations during busy periods and holidays
- Liaising with suppliers regarding parts and deliveries
- Carrying out stock checks and cycle counting
- Replenishing workshop consumables
The ideal candidate:
- Has previous experience within stock control, stores, assembly, warehouse or production environments
