One Way are working with a well-established and growing specialist contractor within the landscaping and external works sector, who are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Role:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for projects from tender stage through to final account, working closely with operational teams, project managers and clients to ensure successful financial and contractual delivery. You will play a key role in supporting both pre-construction and live project delivery activities, ensuring strong cost control, accurate forecasting and effective contract administration across multiple schemes.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial management of landscaping and external works projects from tender through to final account
- Reviewing contract documentation and supporting pre-construction activities
- Monthly cost reporting, cost-to-complete forecasting and financial reviews
- Support with programme input and project delivery planning
- Agreement of final accounts and retention release
- Liaising with operational teams, clients, designers and subcontractors throughout delivery
Senior Quantity Surveyor Candidate Criteria:
- The successful candidate will be commercially strong, highly organised and confident working across multiple live projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years Quantity Surveying experience
- Background in landscaping, external works or civil engineering environments
- Experience in subcontract procurement and tender analysis
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant commercial systems
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
