Location: Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-2:00pm (22.5 hours per week) Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
We are looking for an experienced Consumables Stock Controller to join our client's team at Cumberland Infirmary. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in stock control, warehousing or inventory management who is organised, accurate and enjoys working in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock levels, inventory and ordering of consumables.
- Receive, check, store and rotate stock.
- Carry out regular stock checks and reconciliations.
- Manage stock transfers, recalls, expired products and discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers, procurement and finance teams.
- Provide stock support to clinical teams.
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' warehousing/inventory management experience.
- Strong stock control experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and administration skills.
Desirable
- Previous NHS or healthcare experience.
- Warehouse management experience.
- Full UK driving licence, as occasional travel may be required.
