Principal / Associate EIA Water Specialist
Cardiff | Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office
£55,000 - £66,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Water Environment Specialist to join a growing consultancy based in Cardiff.
This is a technical-focused position, ideal for someone with strong experience in water environment EIAs who enjoys technical authoring and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing water environment EIA chapters
- Providing technical expertise across hydrology and hydrogeology
- Supporting and mentoring junior specialists
- Contributing to complex environmental projects
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience within water environment / EIA consultancy
- Experience writing and defending technical EIA chapters
- Knowledge of hydrology and/or hydrogeology
- Chartered status with CIWEM, ICE, Geological Society or similar, or working towards this at a senior level
