You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and improving overall operational performance of the site, with a focus on routing efficiency/planning.
  • The role will have direct line management of operational drivers and administrative staff.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are manned appropriately to ensure smooth operations.

As Transport Planning Manager, you will need to be aware of all activity on site including opening and closing. The successful candidate will have experience in logistics/operations management and route planning of multiple high volume deliveries.

With excellent communication, inter-personal analytical and Microsoft skills, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team and have management experience, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and have a flexible approach. A full driving licence and flexibility to travel for meetings/training/site visits is essential.

In return, you can expect a salary of £38,000 - £40,000 pa benefits working Monday to Friday days. We will be interested in speaking to candidates who have extensive route planning experience and may be looking for a step up to management or already in a similar role.
