Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer to join a large and well-established manufacturing company at their Birmingham site. You will be joining a friendly and experienced engineering team within a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities
- Supporting production machinery and site equipment through a combination of reactive maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), machinery improvements, installations, and project work.
This role would suit engineers who enjoy variety in their day-to-day work, working across a range of manufacturing and automated equipment, whilst continuously developing their technical skills.
Requirements
- Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship, hold relevant engineering qualifications, or have significant maintenance engineering experience gained within industry.
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, distribution, logistics, or industrial environment.
- Experience with any of the following will be considered: conveyors, packaging machinery, bearings, belts, motors, sensors, drives, inverters, relays, contactors, three-phase systems, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, automated equipment, robotics, or material handling systems.
- Mechanical or electrical maintenance background - multi-skilled engineers are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Friendly and adaptable approach to work with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude with a hands-on approach to fault finding and problem solving.
