We are looking for a well-motivated flexible person required to do general caretaking duties in an adult day care centre for citizens with physical and learning disabilities, checking, monitoring and recording daily, weekly, monthly building/contents to maintain a safe environment for citizens and staff. Clear accurate record keeping is essential, dealing with contractors and reporting any faults to appropriate people, as well as general upkeep inside and outside of the building.

Alternatively, we have another Caretaker role that incorporates the health and safety daily checks and the cleaning of low rise/high rise blocks, including litter picking and removal of rubbish/item clearances. Regular fly tipping checks within the area are required, operating a tipper vehicle. A driving licence is required for the removal of rubbish and cutbacks on open areas to remove vegetation overgrowth.

The candidate needs to have reading and writing skills as they will be required to record and report information. Time keeping is essential. The working pattern is Monday to Friday.
