My client has been awarded the contract to maintain Surrey Highways for the next 10 years plus. They are seeking dedicated and skilled Highway Maintenance Workers to deliver the contract. These roles are permanent opportunities that include benefits e.g. Holiday pay, Pension, sick pay, death in service. This is a great opportunity for experienced Highways Operatives to develop their careers. Full training and qualifications will be provided. Working in Surrey this role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and functionality of our highways and roadways. The ideal candidate will have experience in Highways maintenance including: Drainage Patching White Works Responsive Repairs Structural workRelevant qualifications such as NRSWA Operatives Units 1 – 9, NHSS 12AB or NHSS 12D, HGV class 2 would be a benefit. A full manual driving license is essential. Key Responsibilities: Highway Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks on highways, roads, and associated infrastructure. This includes pothole repairs, surface treatments, drainage maintenance, and roadside verge management. Patching of potholes Conduct reinstatement activities in compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and relevant industry codes of practice.
